Hey all, finally introducing myself after getting my cert last week in Key Largo. (It was beautiful!) I'm shooting to get a few more dives under my belt and then go for advanced next spring. Any personal suggestions on gear or things you wish you had known when you were just starting out? I'm looking forward to eventually wreck diving and hoping to get more involved in this wonderful dive community!

You have some terrific ocean diving close to home off of Beaufort. You will need more training and experience for some of it, but look for a trip to the shallower wrecks.

Congrats on getting your cert and Key Largo to boot!!great city. MY advice to is to look at where you want to be in your diving career and buy the gear you will need at that stage. That way you only buy once
