ScubaBoard created the Dive Dry with Dr. Bill forum in June of 2017 so members can see all his articles in one place.

Home > Forums > Diving Activities & Specialties (category) > Marine Science & Conservation > Marine Life & Ecosystems

Although the location is highly appropriate, it is in a sub-sub-forum and can't be seen on ScubaBoard's top-level forum list. Dr. Bill was honored but also wanted his new Dive Dry articles seen in the California forums where his work focused. @The Chairman made an exception to the rule against duplicate threads — he was a ScubaBoard Legend after all. The disadvantage was that two independent sets of replies were produced, which is the reason for the rule against duplicate threads.

ScubaBoard's upgrade this year introduced a new "Search Forum" feature that allowed links to threads to be automatically generated in different forums. I just completed merging all replies to Dive Dry threads, which are in the California forums.

There are now two Dive Dry with Dr. Bill "search forums" with links to source threads:
Don't be surprised when you suddenly find yourself in one of the California forums after clicking on one of these links in a Dive Dry search forum. Sadly, Dr Bill Bushing aka drbill has written his last Dive Dry article.
