Been needing a box big enough to get 2 full sets of cold water gear to Catalina, and found this at Home Depot for $65. A piece of angled aluminum and a couple of old cam bands I had laying around, and I am good to go. Rainy days and boredom are a great combination sometimes.

It actually rolls really well when loaded. The boat to Catalina only allows one trip up and down the gangway...this fits that need, and fits in the back of the car as well.

Been fighting them for many years...the looks they give me are worth it.

Isn't here a weight limit on your luggage for the Catalina Express? It's been a while that I made the trip.

Not for dive gear, no. I also have one of the old(and way cool) California dive boxes, but it only holds one set of gear. With this one, I can take mine and my wife's stuff all in one. They actually like your gear in a box like this...easy for them to move around if need be.

Actually there is. 100 pounds per "cart"was what I was told when I showed up with doubles, a heavy duty 2 wheel cart and that style box all strapped together. They helped me get it all on board in one trip.

Doubt I'll ever get to 100lbs, but good to know.

Wow, I remember the days. My rolling Stanley box for Catalina now sits unused in my carport in the Keys. I should have left it when I moved back to FL.
