Has anyone had any hands on experience with the new DC1200 ?? :eyebrow:

Its supposed to be 12mp and the housing is supposed to have "piano keys" that dont have the "stuck button" problem that a number of users have been reporting.

i'd love to get some first hand feedback from anyone and maybe get a DC1200 as primary camera and keep DC800 for backup.. :cool2:

That is correct, the new DC1200 will not be in stores until around May 1.

As for the "sticky buttons" that was a batch production problem that was quickly fixed so not widespread. Also, there have been cases were individuals do not clean or flush the camera after use and the salt build sup under the buttons causing them to stick.

Have mine love the results. Great pictures, easy to use. Only problem is the strobe arm comes off the base underwater. What for tech support to tell how to solve problem. Had an 800 and drowned it. Heading to Truk in a month so using a lot in water to get use to it. So far So good.

Nice!! If you guys have a link to reviews with sample pics, that would be awesome!
