Hey All,

well a couple of weeks ago I posted about eagerly awaiting my new Canon A85 and underwater housing. Well, it arrived yesterday and its awesome. Very user friendly and all controls are easily accessible through the houseing....now to do the leak test before..."the big test".

Here's my question are lenses such as the ones in the following link worth buying? Is there a brand of lens I should stay away from? Of course I know I can't use them with the housing but I thought it would be nice to have other lenses for those extended surface intervals.

looking forward to your input!

cheers,

Jeff

Congrats on your new camera. I have the A70 and love it.

I wouldn't bother with the lenses (the link didn't work so I'm not sure exactly what kind of lenses). There's plenty to play with on the bare camera. If you're talking about a macro lens, then you'll have to change out your housing (probably not worth the cost).
