The Sony A7siii is highly regarded for its low light capabilities making it a popular consideration for growing underwater videographers. Aside from cost, the biggest hurdle is the learning curve on how to build a working rig. Yet, we have not seen anyone share how to build an entire underwater video rig around this camera. We are going to change that. In his video we go beyond the Sony A7siii settings for filming underwater in our last video. We will will show you how we built our Sony A7Ssiii underwater rig, including the incorporation of the Atomos Ninja V+. We cover lenses, ports, housings, Ninja configuration, and MacGyver tricks used. We cover programming the Ninja and Sony to work together, hook it all up, and show you it working in the rig. We also share our experiences with you in dealing with suppliers and resellers of new camera equipment both the good and the bad. Our hope is that we can make the process easy for you so that you can get out there and start shooting video. Even if you don't own this camera, we hope there are parts of this video that you will find useful. The parts we used are at the end. Whether you choose the Sony A7Siii or not, if you want to get beyond your action camera into a bigger underwater camera system this video will help you take a big step in that direction.
