Nevis

I was wondering if anyone had any information on living in Nevis - or even experience with extended stays? My husband is considering medical school and I'm trying to find out more about the island.

[Nevis Diver]

I spent a week there and it seemed like a good place for ex-pats...a bit expensive compared to some places but nice otherwise. The island is almost 100% african and there isn't much night life but it is otherwise a beautiful place yet undiscovered by the masses. The diving is above average and it too is undiscovered. All in all, I would love to be there for extended peroids of time(3-4 months) but not as a permanent location.

I didn't mean to suggest that because it is african that it isn't beautiful. The people of Nevis are wonderful, accomodating and very nice.
