I am considering taking up scuba diving but have absolutely no idea about the time it takes for cert. or the costs involved in getting set-up for weekend diving.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike Taylor.

Welcome to the forum. You are braver than I, diving in Canada!!! I'm a Florida boy and have never voluntarily lived north of the artic circle (for those of you who do not know, that is near West Palm Beach!!!)

As to your questions, I hope the more experienced people will answer. It is an awesome hobby, and can suck up your money as rapidly as any other :-)

Enjoy!!
