Hi,

I have a NERD 2, DiveCan, 5 pin controller built for the Diverite Optima or "CHoptima" for sale. It is in great condition. It has 49 dives on it.

Asking $1600.

Pick up in San Pedro, California or shipped at buyer's expense. Feel free to ask questions.

Thanks for looking.

Andy

This should work for the Scuba Force SF-2 as well.
Hi BigGixx,

There is a two-fold answer:

A) Yes it does and I have used it so without any problems. And I know other people who have used it on the SF2s, also without any problems.

B) ScubaForce came out with their version. The official answer from Shearwater is that they have different specs. The explanation was that the loop length from a Optima/CHoptima is different which in turn could/will affect the solenoid function. It was also explained that it could “fry” the solo board. 🤷‍♂️

Since I am affiliated with ScubaForce USA I am selling the DiveRite version and will get a SF2 version.

Having said all this, I have the habit to “stay ahead” of the solenoid firing and manually add O2. This could be a reason as to why I never experienced any ill effects.

I hope this answers your question.

Thanks for reaching out.

Andy
