My son was lucky enough to win a Neptune Space mask recentlty. We plan on getting hands-on training from the dealer. I am his primary dive partner. My question relates to an OOA event. As I would normally donate my 'safe second', would he have to remove his mask, or can he just insert it into mask if it has the optional octupus port? I understand I would have to remove my mouthpiece from my safe second.

I agree with voodoo even if I'm not using my ffm I keep a spare mask !
donning the ffm on and off underwater requires practice and when buddy
breathing keep a spare mask handy , I hope he is enjoying the ffm :) ...
