I have a confirmed allergy to latex, so I went with neoprene seals on my drysuit (there is no test for neoprene). Now, after about 10 dives on it, I keep getting itchy around the neck after diving. Its strange because my wrists don't have the same effect, maybe the neck is more sensitive.

I'm wondering if any of you have any suggestions. I don't have a horrible rash yet but it is quite itchy and annoying. I've heard of people using some sort of barrier like nylon around their neck, does this keep the water out as well? Also, someone recommended using Bag Balm on my neck as a temporary barrier, anyone have any knowledge on either of these methods or have another idea to share?

Try putting a very thin film of aquasure on the part of the seal resting against your neck, this helped one of my customers

Apollo makes something that I believe is called Bio-Seal. You might want to check their website. This is a strip that is used between the neck and or wrists and the seals on a dry suit. Hope this helps!
