The wife and I are heading to these two places on a cruise in November. I am looking for info. on where there might be beaches that she can lay on and maybe do some snorkeling, while I do some shore diving. The other options are, where is there a quite beach for her to go to, while I head out on a boat. If it comes to that one, can you offer some local dive operators to contact. I am looking for easy, shallow dives (no shark) that do not require long boat rides. Any help is appreciated.

All beaches on Grand Bahama Island are Public Beaches.

I've been told that there really isn't any good shore diving on Grand Bahama Island as the reef starts about a mile out.

When we're there we dive with Grand Bahama Scuba. Fred and Melinda's contact info is on the website.
