my girl and i are headed to ft lauderdale for the weekend and i wanted to know if you guys have some good spots to snorkel. thanks for the help

I haven't been there myself, but everyone talks about Lauderdale-by-the-Sea (small town near Ft. Lauderdale) as the best place in FL for off-the-beach snorkeling and shallow scuba diving. You can find a lot of info about this on the Florida subforum on ScubaBoard:
