I am looking for information on diving the wrecks in Kwajalein as a non-DOD person. My dive buddy and I are trying to figure out if that is even possible! Any help would be appreciated!

You would have to get a job on Kwaj or Roi-Namur or get sponsored to visit. These are the most common methods.

As an alternate method, you could take a trip on the liveaboard that visits Bikini Atoll as the depart from Ebeye island in the Kwajalein Atoll and dive a few of the wrecks on the way to Bikini.

I have not heard of any private charters out of Ebeye other than the liveaboard. About half a year ago there was a private boat with billionaires diving in the Atoll.

Hi KC,

You can get the latest information on this by posting an inquiry on Kwaj-Net Facebook. I'm the founder & Sr. administrator of the page and the other Kwaj-Net web properties and I'll be happy to give your question the visibility that it needs to get feedback.
