I was diving in St Thomas, US Virgin Islands and saw three fish suspended at 30 feet in open water...didn't recognize them...want to find out what they were. Is there somewhere to go to look at pictures of large carribean fish? These guys were as big as me. They weren't marlin or wahoo or barracuda.

Joe,

Where were you diving and what did they look like? We do have massive Dog Snapper at a couple sites that don't look like the long, skinny, silver things.
