I'm doing a research project on the marine life off the coast of California. Mainly the Huntington Beach area, Seal Beach, etc.

I don't need to know the fish species, but rather things such as Sea Anenome, Plants that grow on the surface, starfish species, and maybe small fish.

Is there any site where I can find this?

I tried Googling and can't find a single list of specie names.

If you're truly a "Banned Member," then we can't help you.

Psst... buddy, take a look at my web site (link below), or divebums or ocdiving.

By the way, if you tried Googling for "specie names," "specie" refers to coins, not to living things. They are known as species whether singular or plural.

There's a local dolphin pod that cruises up and back between San Clemente and Palos Verdes Pennisula. Just south of Huntington Beach is Crystal Cove just before Laguna Beach...this area has recently been discovered as a birthing cove for this pod of dolphins. I think Dennis Kelly out of Orange Coast College leads the study group on these dolphins.
