I have been going through all the older gear we have lying around the store here and came across a gauge that I cannot identify. It is a depth gauge with a compass built into it and I do not recognize the logo on it. Any ideas?

The gauge is from Japan marketed by either "Y.C.M." or "Asahi" have att. pics from my files to compare, the year of the unit could be 1950/1960's someone else may have a confirming date ASAHI.jpgJAPAN GAUGE.jpgYCM JAPAN 200FT 1950.JPGYCM JAPAN 200FT..jpg

Thanks. That gives me something to look for now.
