Has anybody used the Canon A570IS with the Sea & Sea YS-60 TTL/N strobe? The strobe will need the adapter from Heinrichs-Weikamp. Their website says that the strobe and adapter will work with the Canon A590 but does not list the A570IS.
Does anybody know from experience if it will work?
Thanks for your help.

Just because a camera's not listed on the HW site does not mean it will not work, it just menas that they haven't seen any dtests from it. I'm sure it will work mostly becasue the 590 seems to have been a minor refresh of the 570, I doubt they changed much in the flash system.

Make sure the get the one for the Nikonos connector since you have the YS60 TTL/N (the N stands for Nikonos connector).

I just answered your PM and what I didn't mention was that the camera that my firend used is a A720, which is very similar to your 570 (IIRC they were even released together), the main difference is in the zoom range.

Thank you Randini. I ended up ordering the Heinrichs-Weikamp adaptor directly from Heinrichs in Germany. It was $125.00 including 3 day shipping compared to $159.00 plus shipping (about $12.00 ground shipping) from Reef Photo. I hope to have it in a few days!
