I realize now, after going through the replies and lots of old posts on equipment, that I need more experience. I was not open, previously, to unfamiliar stuff ie wrist AI computers. I've decided to go rental for future dives and test more types of equipment. Will also try to work with a LDS and see if I like their ScubaPro stuff, and if they can work on $$ with me. Looks like I should work with my LDS first...
I'll probably post queries later on individual equipment as I evaluate them in the ocean.
