My digital camera recently died, so I am in the market for a new camera. I am looking for something digital, which is not too big, has a housing (obviously), and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Any suggestions on what to get? I am fairly knowedgable about technology and digital cameras, but I don't know what works well underwater. I am interested in getting into some underwater photography, but just a a hobby, so I don't need anything extrememly fancy. Thanks!

Do a little looking at some of the threads on the last few pages here - there have been quite a few recent discussions on current choices.

Off the top of my head I'd say:
Fuji 900 for full controls
Fuji 30 for some controls
... http://www.scubaboard.com/showthread.php?t=142584
Canon A series for full controls no RAW
Canon A95 no extras... http://www.scubaboard.com/showthread.php?t=156474
Canon S80 as above
...pretty sure Ed_Dman http://www.scubaboard.com/showthread.php?t=156282
Canon S70 as above but with RAW - older model
Oly 350 full controls with RAW
...look for LarryC posts

Thanks so much!
