i need to locate a lightswitch for a halycon light.
any ideas? halcyon is no help what so ever.

Try again. Maybe you will get somebody different on the phone and a different response.

Many divers have posted about getting defective gear from Halcyon, and then getting great customer service to make up for it.

The toggle switches used on most canister lights are nothing special, just ordinary general purpose toggle switches, but with a fairly compact body so its not necessary to mill out as much of the cover to fit it.

It might be worth taking the old one to an electrical supply house or a large autoparts store (real autoparts store, not a consumer chain like Autozone or VIP) and see if you can find something similar. You might want have to try several stores before you get lucky.
 
got the switch thing covered, now im onto bigger fish
