Greetings all -
We have a day in Manado, October 31, before we fly out to return home. We'd like to get out of town to see some of the countryside. We will have done a Tankoko hike the evening before, and are looking at the area south of Manado, places like Tinoor, Tomohon, Mahawu Mountain, Mt. Lokon, etc. Should be a day's worth of sightseeing here, right? We'd prefer smaller, less commercial areas. Or, if anyone has a suggestion of another route, let's say an eight hour round trip, let us know your ideas.
Anyone have any hints for drivers, guides, services to call, etc? Any tips appreciated!
