Hi all!

Novice diver. Need to finish the open water certification in Cabo during the first week in April with 2 16 yr old sons. (scuba certified in Curacao last April, refresher in ATL a week ago).

Anyway, staying the the RIU Santa Fe and they have a Scuba Caribe Center....will that be OK. I have talked with Manta as well but they are a bus ride to the center.

Anybody have a sense of which would be best?

Also, need to by a wetsuit....it 3ml OK? what is best and where to buy?

Thanks!

Call and talk to the person who would be doing the check out dives and make sure you can understand them, as far as their accent or command of the English language. I would at least wear a 3mm long suit and a hood. Also look at pictures of their boat on their website, if they use a panga to dive from it won't have oxygen and first aid equiment or much of an area to store your gear.
