I finally made the leap and am the happy owner of a new White's Bullet dry suit.

My question has to do with information my LDS gave regarding the trimming of the next seal . . . more specifically "DON'T." Their direction instead is to powder the seal and store the suit for one week with the latex seal stretched to the desired diameter via an appropriately sized object (vase, lg water thermos, etc).

I did as suggested and while it does fit much more comfortably, I wonder if this is the right solution long term?

Your feedback/recommendations are greatly appreciated.

G.

Same advice as i would give. The seals will stretch and loosen over time with use. If you cut the seal now, once it stretches, it will be too big and leak. Give it a little time. If it still seams tight after diving it for a while then cut a very little amount off at a time.

I agree 100% - Remember as well that the fusion ships with a tapered neck seal - Thus, if it stretches (and it will), there will be less contact area remaining and you will get seepage.
