NB-2L, NB-2LH charger compatibility?

Hello,

I am trying to find out if the charger that came with my Canon S40 can be used for the newer NB-2LH batteries? They only had NB-2L batteries a few years ago. Will the original charger that I received work with these newer batteries? I can't seem to find anyone who knows.

I use both chargers for my batteries (I have S45 and EOS350D) and have no problems...

some batteries are canon made and some are replacements and it all works ok

Same experience as hvulin. I use the charger from my old S50 (RIP) to charge both standard and long life Canon batteries without problem, for my new S70.
