Another two good days of diving at Roca Partida. This time we had really good encounters with Galapagos and silvertip sharks. Specially in the afternoon dives it's possible to see a different behavior of the sharks, turning more intense in their attempts to get a small fish. In particular silky sharks were behaving very opportunistic to catch a left over by following the tunas that were hunting near the surface.
White tip sharks that are usually resting on the balconies this afternoon were all over the place, very active right were the current was hitting the rock on the south point. We could se very pregnant females and sporadic hunting attempts what was very impressive. We also saw at least 5 massive yellow fin tunas going around the rock and bullying the little fish swimming towards the rock to find some protection.
Now our guests are enjoying a beautiful sunset with some cocktails on the top deck and watching some humpback whales breaching not to far from the boat to make this day even better!

Nautilus UnderSea - Feb 25th - March 5th

This dive trip will stay forever in the memory of our guests, it will for sure in mine! The diving was fantastic!! Hammerheads and other sharks at the Canyon, lots of super friendly mantas dancing all around us at Roca Partida and a mum humpback whale teaching its calf how to breach during 2 full days all around the rock! And on the second day at Roca Partida, the most amazing place in the world, the unexpected finally happened. A large male humpback cruised around the rock so many times in one morning. Through the duration of 2 dives and for the pleasure of every single diver to observe repeatedly underwater!! Sometimes even at the same time as mantas were in sight! Unbelievable and unforgettable (we have a lot of pictures to prove it)!
The next day at Cabo Pierce we swam with a whale shark…. Every day is full of highlights here!!
