Hi there - planning a trip to Socorro and I have the option for either the Belle Amie or the Explorer. Any advise on which boat to choose? The one thing I was considering was # of divers...and I know the Belle Amie carries ~ 30 divers...which is a lot.

I loved the Belle Amie. I haven't been on the Explorer out there.Maybe one day I'll get the chance to dive on that boat as well.

the belle amie has 33ft of beam vs 27ft on the explorer. if you don't do well with motion sickness, that may be a consideration too.

It's unbelievably stable. We were in fairly large seas and didn't feel much.
