Nauticam owners - Dome port lock

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I received my E-M10 housing. Its my first Nauticam housing and it looks good enough apart from some plastic parts which I would prefer to be metallic instead. Anyway, I think something its not working right on the dome lock system. The red lock doesnt turn the lock ring fully as it should be I guess.. It turns very little only and it seems that it doesnt lock fully but only very little giving me the impression that it is not locked tight enough.

The photos shows the 4.33'' dome locked. Can someone confirm that it is locked right?

Note: The red lock cant go down any further.

I dont have that port but the one for the 12-50 lens. If it is not in all the way it gave me problems. I finally put the port on a table (w/ lens cap) and was able to push it on slightly more and it worked perfectly. Greasing the orings helped. If you have the vacuum system try applying some vac to pull it in all the way and see what happens.

I can't see whether the port is pushed in all the way in photo two, but it looks about right! Is the handle back in the correct position with the line on the button showing when the port is on? The lock ring doesn't move much.

My concerns were right. Received response from Nauticam technical dept and confirmed the retention ring which is moving by the red lever is misplaced from the factory.

Housing sent back for replacement.
