In spite of some damage, key services and dive operators, many dive operators are already open and taking divers out today in various locations throughout The Islands of The Bahamas.
The Bahamas Diving Association is very happy to announce that all of its association members made it through the Hurricane with minimal damage. In spite of a major Hurricane, thanks to advance preparation and experience, our dive operators are ready for business.
Operators in Abaco and Bimini, for instance, took divers out yesterday. Others such as in Grand Bahama and New Providence Islands are planning to be operational by today or within the next few days.
Please call your dive operator to confirm operational status, but thankfully, our dive operators will be open for business as usual in the next few days!
