NACD Cards

I just received my NACD replacement cards, about a week after I requested them, which is great. Still, the cards I got… low quality and ugly. What happened to the old red cards? I remember that there was a fight, and somebody got the card machine. But is this really what they came up with?

(By the way, I have tried to read through the old threads about the internecine fights within the NACD. There are about a billion posts, and I just couldn’t make it through them.)

I’ll try to take a photo and mark out all of the information. I guess it’s good that they have pictures now.

I'm curious as to when your initial certification was issued and if they were able to give you a replacement for an older card. I had heard that they lost all records prior to somewhere around 2015.

I have copies of my old cards. And in any event I’m still close with my original instructors.
