Mystery Wreck Wednesday! Here is some footage of what we believe may be the stern chunk of a paddlewheel steamer in deep water of the Gulf of Mexico. There's not much structure at all, and it's kind of amazing this got dived...it looks like maybe a little exposed limestone fuzz on the sounder. But as you will see, this little spot yielded a lot of interesting artifacts and important information. There is no telling how many more of these little chunks may be out there off the main section of the wreck several miles away....

Hi @aue-mike, I recently completed my TDI Advanced Wreck Diver training and while it was scary and dark, I am eagerly looking forward to more deep penetration.
