I said I would "...never give up my Halcyon Pro4 10w HID".

I should have added, "without getting something bigger and better." :D

Howard Sandroff NiMH canister/Divelightman 21w HID lighthead blasting an incredible beam focused tightly and without side glare by an EKPP reflector with the extended hood. Rounding up the package is Scott Koplin's (last) SS goodman handle.

The yellow Q40 is for looking at little critters without boiling them.
:D :D :D

Damn, UP, that is a fine little package! 21 watts?? Where and how much, please?

Going to find a lot a blind creatures fumbling around at UP's dive locations.

Less than a Halcyon 18w Helios. :D
Contact Howard and tell him you want in on the next run and ask him about the price. Lights come without reflector or goodman handle... you can buy a Halcyon reflector/goodman handle but I ended up paying less for the better stuff.

Todd? Great, how 'bout you? Good. Listen, I'd like to order one "UP Special"....

Very nice UP.
I just got a Pelican 1500 for my new light.
I think it's the same dementions as yours (less the Q40).
Fits really nice.

Hi UP,

I see you're using the double ender instead of two boltsnaps for clipping the lighthead off, and that you've been at it with the zipties again. Have you tried the bungee loops for this method before? I'm still using two boltsnaps, and was thinking of moving to the double ender with bungee instead - how do you find the zipties? Kind of makes sense, as they would provide a "stiff" loop easier to clip the double ender to than a soft floppy bungee loop.

cheers

Ben

It was a hurry up job and I didn't have any of the small bolt snaps with me but always have zipties handy and had an extra double ender. Works fine... I like it... though I haven't used the 0-ring I ziptied on the cord gland yet... I'll probably replace the with a ziptie loop ziptied on.

How do I find the zipties? Well it isn't hard... they are laying around all over the place here. :D

Well if you ever decide that it is too much light for you, I'll be more than happy to trade my helios 4.5 straight across. I'll even through in a few bolt snaps so you don't feel like your getting the short end of the stick :D
