Hey, I just shot my first video on my Contour HD video camera. It is in a H2OV housing that is depth rated to 400'. During this dive it was a night dive and in a dark quarry. It is the first of many videos so I will try to post some more. I just cut a few minutes of our 30 minute dive.

Here it is. I have posted it elsewhere but this seems to be the best place.

Specs- the battery lasts 2 hours and with a 16gb sandisk card it will take 1080p video with 110deg wide angle lense included and installed for over that. There is a lot of things i will do differently for the next dive but it was a start. I'm excited to show what it can do in the daylight.

Oh it is mounted on my helmet so the bubbles will need to be fixed for the next time but oh well. I will have just as much fun fixing all the mistakes as I did with creating the sound effects. :-)

It was MacBook pro iMovie. Thanks.

I like that audio track you used in the beginning. That's not on iLife, where did you find your audio?

imovie is great. I just switched from PC to Mac. and well unless microsoft does a complete do-over i don't plan on switching back. I will have another link tonight from my dive today.
I can't wait until i dive somewhere cool instead of the quarry.

Nice!!

I's like to see some daytime diving shots or light water video where the contrast isn't as good to see how it focuses.

Will have some new video this Friday from a day dive in both light and dark areas.
