Well, Since I finally got this thing cleaned of all the barnacles that covered it (it was completely covered with hundreds of barnacles) this evening, I thought I would post some pics. This whale vert was recovered in one of the black rivers here in Charleston, SC and all I have to do now is let it dry out. It measures 7" tall and 5.5" wide.

I'll take a pic of what they look like with all the barnacles on it so you have an idea of what I have to deal with.
