INSERT BIG GRINS HERE.

No not dive related but people always say "why should I shoot in 60 FPS?" Well here is an above water example of why fast motion capture needs all the FPS on the front end you can shoot.

IMHO, chasing a fish or just bobbing in the water in no different. I HATE shutter stutter and clunk clunk video at slow FPS speeds.

check out this high speed capture, I rest my case.

Thought I'd share some of this last summers fun with a GoPro2 video camera on a larger frame twin line stunt kite.

Film:

GoPro2, electrical taped to a cross spar on a New Tech / Dodd Gross Big Bang Kite, video'd in HD at 720p x 60 fps filming keeps it crisp, edited in Sony Vegas. One Danggg Perfect flying day on a beach............."somewhere" between Florence and Lincoln City Oregon.

I LOVE watching this on my bigscreen 55" LCD Hi-Def TV..........Vimeo and the Web doesn't do it justice. Yes women scream and leave the room. grins.

Enjoy: Feel Free to comment.
