Lake Lanier:

So earlier this summer I found a great fish hangout by accident when I was solo diving off of divers cove. I was in about 20 feet of water when I turned to my left and saw a school of over 30 bass hovering around a downed tree. It scared me at first because I thought I was dreaming, and dreaming underwater would be very bad. Well, my first thought was that, what a great picture this would be, then my second thought was, wait, this is lake lanier, it would probably be impossible to capture any picture worth a damn. So against this logical limitation I went ahead and bought my first camera anyway, and having never used one underwater before I went with the simple DC600. I really do enjoy this camera as a beginner. Here are some pics of my three trips back to the same fish hangout at 20 feet. Again the pictures arent worth a damn, but the point is you can see the number of bass is far less than my first encounter, so I'm still waiting for them to come back. Until then, happy diving!

Yeah, not the most glorious place to dive, but at least we have a place. Thanks man!
