This isn't specifically an "underwater photography" question, but more of a general camera question in an effort to avoid joining a camera forum I thought I would start here..
I have a Canon Powershot SD1100IS Digital ELPH that I bought a housing for. Its simple to use, does what I need, and wasnt expensive. (Though it would probably be worlds better with an external strobe or two..) Moving forward, the problem I am having is EVERY single time I turn the camera on, it askes me to punch in the date and time settings like it did on day one. Is there an internal battery I can replace on this thing? or should I just deal with it. Its kind of annoying when I see something and want a quick picture, and then have one more menu to cancel out of before I can snap a shot.
Any advice? (other than buying a new camera)
