I went to my LPS yesterday and saw a niffty filter for MWB, for camera as well as video. You just pop it in front of the lens and calibrate - Done!

I was about to try one for UW but the thing cost about 100 bucks!...too expensive for my wallet to get wet and have water go between the layers and ruin it....but maybe someone else has an idea on how we can try it or get a company to make one for UW.
 
I'm a little unclear how this thing would be carried underwater.
 
it has a lanyard, that you can attach to your tray. The lens can be placed in front of the lens without having to screw it on.
 
lol...exaclty! If the price were more reasonalbe I'd go for it...but the idea is cool - no more fumbling trying to hold the camera, the slate and press the button at the same time
