Which dive shop really owns the MV Greta day trip boat in Phuket?
I saw a few different dive shops marketing this boat as their own day trip boat. Just wonder.

Calypso.

The Greta is a nice boat, really like it. An old fishing boat, so even if the weather is not too good she can go anywhere, but will roll quite a lot with the waves.
Be carefull in the high season: the Greta is relatively small, and it tends to be overloaded with guests.

Well, they all do. Peak season is crowded. A word of advice to all serious divers :

Don't come at Christmas. Have a nice time at home with the family. Eat lots and watch "Mary Poppins" and "The Snowman" for the 26th time.

Better from February to May.

We promote the Greta, as we are good pals with Calypso, but we don't pretend it's our boat. Indeed, there are many boats in Phuket with various schedules. A good agent will book you on the one that suits your needs. Others we like include Dive Asia, South Siam, Sea Bees, West Coast.

I saw this boat has a 2d/1n Phi Phi 7 dives for 7500B. And another boat has the same 7 dives for 6900B. Which boat or dive shop has that 6900B Phi Phi trip? Thanks.
I went on the South Siam boat 3 dives for 2500B, pretty good deal. Any discounts if I book 3-5 day trips together?

The divesites are the same, the guides and organisation are completely different though. On the 6900 trip you stay overnight on the boat (Divemaster II), with the Greta trip you stay in a nice hotel on Phi Phi.
If I were you I would go for the 7500 Baht trip.

The discounts (if any) depend on the diveshops, most shops will give you a discount for booking a package deal.
