I found these guys lurking in a couple of mushroom corals.

They were taken in Palau; I think they were on the wreck of the Iro, but I may be wrong....

Love the baby Brittle Star!

Beautiful images! Thanks for sharing them.

It's pretty cold here in New England so I'm diving vicariously through photographs for the next several months!

But I've never seen THIS type of sealife. Thanks.

Both are cool, but I really like the second one. Thanks

Yes, they're cute, aren't they? I, like PK am looking at my imaages to remind me that there is life out there, while here in the UK it's cold and miserable, and the sun doesn't come up until 7.00am and is gone by 5.00pm and that the days are set to get shorter and colder as late December approaches.

I hate winter!

Here's another pesky varmint lurking in a mushroom coral! Ahain, taken in Palau.

Impressive photography!

Two years ago, one of my closest friends almost became a supreme court justice of Palau. What a beautiful place to be! I thought about leaving my career and being her daughter's nanny just to live out there!

I loved Palau; my first memories of diving there were the rolling hills of hard corals in Sar Pass. That was in 199 er.. 7, I think. Pre El Nino. The second time I went the hard corals had been devastated - everything was vovered in green algae. The beautiful coral gardens I remembered so well had gone. but the soft corals and sea fans were still there and there was some great big fish action. The hard corals are slowly recovering, but if they get another bad El Nino it will be a disaster.

Yes, take advantage of your friend's hospitality and go!!!!
