New video, about the enigmatic mushroom coral pipefish, this time filmed with the Inon bug-eye lens. Quite unique footage imo. Interestingly, we have now observed this individual fish couple on-off for 17 months, a long life for such small animals.

This unusual wide-angle close focus turned out to be ideal for filming this fish - with a regular macro setup the AF gets confused by the coral's tentacles, which didn't happen with the bug-eye.
