Hi All

Brit guy marrying a Cannuck and moving to Etobicoke in the fall. Looking for a dive club to join to be able to do some of the great fresh water diving that I've heard about in the area. Any ideas for clubs I could join?

Looking forward to hearing from you guys.

Jon

Hey Jon,

There are quite a few clubs. Being as you will be living in Etobicoke There is:

Aquarius Scuba - http://www.aquariusscuba.com (closest dive shop to Humber Bay)
Ontario Underwater Explorers SCUBA club - http://www.ontario-underwater-explorers.org

Either one of those would serve you well...There are many more but those would be the closest to Etobicoke.

Where abouts will yuo be living? I am also in Etobicoke and a group of us dive Humber Bay every Wednesday night. Not much to see but at least we're wet.

Look us up when you get here!

Etobicoke, cool! There's a really good practice pool there, 15' deep........

Welcome to the board, as well as to Ontario (I know you're not here just yet). i'm in Toronto area myself, North York to be exact (about a half hour from Etobicoke by car)

There are several clubs in the area; most are run/sponsored/affiliated with different shops which run their own message boards. PM me if you'd like a pointer in several different directions.......

Welcome! and See you under water sometime!
