Diver Mitch,
You'll have a blast in Guam, the diving is second to none. The Grotto in Saipan is a must dive, but hit the stairmaster before, its 140 steps down and back in full gear, its well worth the pain.
There are lots of things to do topside, if you want some good info about the island when you get there, stop by Shooter's bar in Hagatna and talk to the owner "Ric", he's been living on Guam 23+ years, he will give you the straight story about Guam. Tell him "Big Jim" sent you.

Hey Jim,

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll look up once I get there.

Mitch

Hi Robin,

I'm lucky, my wife is all about going and being able to dive often.

Narcosis,

Thanks. I'm sure I'll have a few questions once I get there. I'm counting down the days.
:D

Diver Mitch:

When you get tired diving in Guam come up to Saipan. The water is cleaner and the Grotto is close to my home. How long will you be living in Guam?

Still on a little rock in the Pacific

Hi Dale,

I will be there for 2 years.

Mitch

After which you'll be real anxious to get back to Alaska....:D Keep us posted....I'll bet you stay on Guam.

I've been here for a few months now. We love the diving here! It's fairly cheap to dive and there are a bunch of dive sites to choose from.
My wife signed us up for a day of wreck diving this fathers day to the Tokai Maru and the Cormoran.
My first night dive was on the Tokai Maru, I'm looking forward to diving it during the day.
I love being in Gaum.
PM me if anyone ends up visiting and needs a dive buddy.

Take care,
Mitch

I visit Guam about once a month from Japan for work and plan to move there permanently soon. I dive on every trip.

I recently met Carlos and Amber from Heritage Charters. Heritage Boat Charters Their main thing is fishing. But they do really nice, affordable custom dive charters for up to 6 passengers. Best deal going, in my opinion, for folks with their own gear and know how to dive.
