The best way to upload photo's to a new album is to do so from your computer using the originals that you uploaded to begin with. Then just delete the ones in the Gallery. I generally try to zip them, and do it that way. However last time I ran into a non-published zip size limitation (in VBuletin, not ZIP). I can't remember what it was, but it was rather small.

There is no move option that I have found other than to move images to the general area. You can populate an album from a URL, but that is one photo at a time. Goto Album->Upload Photo and then look at the bottom right, and there is an option to enter a URL.

It's nice that VBulletin supports galleries and images, but that is not the major purpose of the application. The Gallery, album, and photo options are kinda clunky and limited.

Hello Ron,

Thanks for your comments. I decided to to re-upload the images directly into the new album and then delete them from the gallery. I had to go and update the threads that I had linked images from the gallery to reflect the images in the new album instead - what a pain! At least I figured this out now rather than later while the work is minimal. Thanks again. BTW - I like your avatar, did you take the photograph yourself?
