Depends on what you are looking to spend and what features you are hoping to get.

I use a Sony TRV30 Mini-DV in a Ocean Images Housing - about $2800 invested.

If you want something small look at the Sony PC120 and housing (many to choose from). Or - you could get a less expensive Mini-DV unit and find a multi-camera housing (many options available - TopDawg, Ocean Images, USVH, etc..)

This is by no means a comprehensive list - only the few that I am familiar with that are in lower cost bracket.

I think you will find that Sony and Canon are the easiest cameras to fit a housing to.

You may want to consider looking for a used rig if you want to save some money.

Thanks for the response, going to FIJI in June and want to get somethins in the $1,000 or less range, possibly used.
