I bought a new lens for Merry's Birthday. The zoom gear finally arrived yesterday, so she was excited about trying it out this morning. I opted for a dive at Hermosa Beach Artificial Reef to try for Giant Sea Bass photos.

If the big guys were there, we wouldn't have known it. The bottom was dark, green and dirty. We remained close to our anchor in the six feet of visibility, taking practice shots of gorgonians and sponges so we would be ready for the giants. We came home with photos of gorgonians and sponges. :(
