Anyone have any links/info for the most "deadly" marine life for divers? I'm looking statistical data on deaths caused by marine life..not marine most capable of killing. My "shootin' from the hiip" guess is a jellyfish.

MilitantMedic:I'm looking statistical data .......
mike_s:I read the other day that you are ten times more likely to be killed
by a falling coconut than a shark, statistically. About 150 people
a year are killed by falling coconuts. Who would have thunk it?
HAiko:Ehm... just to get this one right. How big are the chances that a falling coconut is hitting you while diving? And, how likely is it to encounter a shark while standing beneath a coconut-tree?
drdiver1952:And for that matter, how likely a falling coconut will hit a shark?
Land Locked:Most common envenomation would be jellys. But death? I don't know.
Checked Dan's reports and they listed 2 fatal attacks by shark and 1
by jelly on their last dive accident report summary.
