In the off chance that I am not the last person on the face of the Earth to hear this TDI Canada purchased Morrisons Quarry so as of June 1st it now costs $10 to dive there per day or $15 on the weekend. I do not know if it's $15 for both days or 1 day.

apparently TDI has/is going to invest quite a lot and really spruce up the place for us (hot showers, new things to see in the quarry etc)

You are not
thanks for the info

Since Morisson is in Quebec bare in mind that those who dive there starting next year will have to have paid their dive permit in accordance with the FQAS (17.5$ for three years).
You can purchase your permit starting this year but are not required to have it till next year.

Try this link .....

If it doesn't work, I can PM a detailed list of directions.

PS Oren...I just saw that you are in Guelph and may not know the area. Morrison's is near Ottawa but just across the Ont/Quebec border. ( near a town called Wakefield, Que. )
Thanks for the link.
I realized it would be a little drive for an afternoon dive ;)

Anyone know anywhere that's actually selling/issuing these permits? Last I heard, possession of one was law, but there were no qualified issuers........

Any dive instructor can apply to take the course (with FQAS) in order to be allowed to issue the permits of course the course is 115$ = tax to be able to look at you logbook (really complicated requires alot of additional training for an instructor)

Realistically they shoudl be pulishing a list of accredited issuers soon courses just started in month of june so itsl all quite recent. However as stated for this year it is not required will be required april 1 2005 if i'm not mistaken.
There is still no official enforcers to my knowledge.
