After a little bit of advice on behalf of a mate of mine who is currently in Caye Caulker doing his OW. Apparently, yesterday whist waiting for one of his dives he decided to duck dive (not sure how deep but took him 3 attempts to get down there!) and in doing so suffered some quite bad pain in his ear. Apparently it is now agony if he descends more than a couple of feet!

Any ideas of what it is likely to be wrong and how long he should wait before trying again?

Thanks
