As usual, the meeting part starts at 7:30 pm but we always show up early to visit, drink, chat, and well, drink some more. Most people wander in between 6:30 and 7:00 but everyone is welcome to come when they can. The logistics at Jax are a bit different from what we've had in the past - while we do have a separate room (to keep us at bay), there is no table service. Everyone just bellys up to the bar to order drinks and food. Like we've never walked up to a bar before
Our speaker this month is Garnett Beard, owner of Captain Beard Charters out of Freeport. We have a couple of rig trips set up with him for July and August so he'll share some do's and don'ts of platform diving in the gulf. Should be a great meeting - look forward to seeing you there!
